More reliable website domains:

Less reliable website domains:
.com
.net
Students were encouraged to thinking critically and discriminate web sources via the following questioning strategies listed below.

Source: Who is the author or producer of the website? Does the site’s creator have knowledge of their field?
Date: When was the website created? Is the information updated periodically? Are links to other sites kept current?
Content: Is the content accurate and current? Is the content relevant to the search topic? Is the coverage of the information comprehensive? Does the site have an obvious bias?
Design: Is the site easy to navigate? Does the design enhance the site or make it more difficult to use?
For other website search strategies, students were advised to use Boolean’s logic, which includes the following terms:
AND: to narrow their search
OR: to broaden their search
NOT: to limit their search
