Fall 2021 Served as a judge for Emporia State University SPURS (Service, Patriotism, Understanding, Responsibility, Sacrifice) student leadership and service organization for homecoming royalty candidates. Assessed nearly 30 royalty candidates’ applications. Virtually interviewed a dozen of students, which later advanced to the student body voting process.
Fall 2021 Served on The Teachers College Future Teacher Scholarship Committee where I reviewed and scored 35+ candidates’ essays. Collaborated with fellow faculty scorers. Collectively made a recommendation to associate dean to award a $8K scholarship to a deserving financially needy candidate at Emporia State University.
